Shot in the morning, a few minutes before the sun hit the top of the face of the mountain. El Capitan is almost entirely composed of "El Capitan Granite" which is quite colorful.
I liked the angle of the downed tree and the ominous feeling provided by the mist over the snowy field.
A portion of the Bay Bridge, "Bay Lights" installation. (Image cropped.)
Shot with a Canon Extender EF 2x III on a Canon EF 400mm f/2.8 L IS II USM Lens, and cropped.
An Arctic Fox at the Toronto Zoo, looking intently into the grasses for a mouse.
This lion was possibly the most photogenic (and cooperative) creature I've ever tried to photograph. I was able to manually focus several shots, including this one (through a chain fence). Also, the 400mm f/2.8 was a joy to shoot with - incredible sharpness, and perfect for a lion resting in the shade.
